Meet the BFBC Team
Pierre was born in Brussels and raised both in Asia and Europe. He graduated with a Joint Major in Economics and Politics and a Masters in Global Political Economy from Sussex University (UK). After working in Brazil he moved to Manila in 2008 and since 2009 has worked for Integreon where he is currently lead analyst and project manager for Investment Research & Analytics covering global equities.
Michelle was born and raised in Brussels,Belgium. She has a college degree in education (elementary school and middle school), specialization in Autism and made an additional degree in psychology for kids. She worked as Sales Consultant and 13 years Back office of ING Bank Trade Market. She moved in 2009 to Manila to follow her family and was involved for 4 years in Manille Bienvenue and 3 years in BFBC as event manager and VP.
Reginald Huys, born and raised in Knokke-Heist, Belgium, holds a master in applied economic sciences from the university of Leuven, with additional degrees in Belgian and Luxembourgish tax law. Before coming to the Philippines, he has worked 5 years for Ernst&Young Luxembourg as international tax advisor. In February 2015, Reginald co-founded Digital Bakery, specialising in remote staffing solutions for Belgian companies from the Philippines.
Gregory Tutt was born and raised in Belgium and is a proud husband and father of 3 beautiful kids. He has a few passions amongst them IT and Beers. Gregory worked during 16 years for a Belgian company focussing on building softwares for SAP, 5 of those years were spent in Manila were he grew his team from 4 developers to around 700 after which he started a new entity in Manila for a start-up company. Gregory is a workaholic and loves turning good things into great ones and during his spare time created an import company importing Belgium finest beers. Gregory is the BFBC treasurer since 2016.
Geert was born and raised in Gent, Belgium. He obtained his master’s degree history at the University of Gent. After his service in the Belgian army he started his career as a history teacher. Since 2009 he was active as a planner-coach in the public cleaning sector in his hometown. He moved in Dec 2015 to Manila with his family and is now a full-time house dad.
I consider myself as a good Belgian as I live by what we are known abroad: the Belgian Spirit. Always ready to celebrate and promote our culture, whether drinking, eating or talking about our lovely country. I'll always be glad to meet anyone around a good Belgian beer!
Loic has a degree in International Commerce. Prior to arriving in the Philippines in 2011, he has worked in France as a Sales Manager until he decided to go abroad to explore new opportunities. He has experience in Canada, The Caribbean, Colombia and Australia. He is now based in Asia, where he initially worked as a Business Consultant with Triple I Consulting until he joined Asia Relocation Moving and Storage where he works as Sales Manager.
Chloé was born in Brittany, France, and moved in The Philippines in December 2017 after she graduated from Audencia Business School, where she took a Master Degree in Digital Marketing. She had the opportunity to take internships in a few start-ups, and at the Courrier International and the Magazine Marie Claire in Paris. She works now for an IT company in BGC as a Digital Marketing Specialist. She is passionate about food and moreover French Crepes !
